Serving individuals and families seeking asylum in Western New York

Buffalo Peace House provides local asylum seekers with safe housing, meals, and other essential services.

Buffalo Peace House is a safe, clean haven for U.S. asylum seekers

We provide food and shelter to individuals and families from every race, gender, and religion. Due to the unfortunate magnitude of global oppression, we have been called to house asylum seekers who range from infants to the elderly.

To date, Buffalo Peace House has welcomed asylum seekers from more than 65 countries worldwide. People who speak dozens of different languages and hail from many different cultures pass through our home each year, cultivating a center for diversity and shared learning.

Over 65

countries are represented by the asylum seekers assisted by Buffalo Peace House

“Today, I want to express my deepest gratitude to Buffalo Peace House—not only for opening its doors, but for opening its hearts to those of us who arrive in this country carrying fears, hopes and dreams.”
