Your gift supports asylum seekers in their transition to independence

Guided by the strategic planning process, Buffalo Peace House is exploring long-term development of two adjacent vacant lots to better support residents’ transition from shelter to independent living.

In the short term, we aim to continue and expand our critical services to the WNY asylum seeker community, with our operating costs growing every day.

Long term, the site has the potential to support 4–6 new transitional housing units. These units would form part of a “Step Up, Step Out” pathway, helping families prepare for and secure permanent housing while receiving ongoing support.
